Jim McCallum, CPA

Jim has over forty years of experience in public accounting as well as three years as the chief financial officer of a private company. His career began with a large international accounting firm and he then went with a large regional accounting firm where he became a principal. In 2020, Jim partnered with another CPA and they began their own firm, eventually merging with another small firm. In 2021 their firm was acquired by The Swanson Group, LLC. Jim’s professional background focuses mostly on audits and reviews of closely held companies in a variety of industries including construction, professional service, utilities and manufacturing. Jim is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine. He enjoys hiking, traveling and golf, and is a big sports fan. Jim lives in Portland with his wife.
